Three Dips That Are as Easy to Make as They Are Delicious

Spicy guacamole

Veggie dips are absolutely amazing. Not only are they both healthy, and delicious, but best of all, they’re super fast, and easy, too. Most of the time, all you really need to do is throw the ingredients in a food processor, blend, and have at it. That’s basically it.

That being said, not all veggie dips are amazing. To make a really great veggie dip, you need to find the right combination of ingredients. Here are just a few, little recipes to get you started.

Lemon Garlic Hummus.

To make this awesome veggie dip, you’ll need 30-ounces of garbanzo beans, half a cup of EVOO, three tablespoons of tahini, one teaspoon of sea salt, two tablespoons of minced garlic, three tablespoons of lemon juice, and a quarter-cup of water. Put it all in the food processor, and mix it until it’s smooth. Then, enjoy your veggie dip.

Greek Yogurt Dip.

Who said you only had to use vegetables in your veggie dip? Greek yogurt veggie dips are another great way to have a healthy snack. Just whisk one teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, one onion soup packet, and one cup of plain Greek yogurt together, and serve. This dip goes great with just about any veggie, be it a cucumber, tomato, carrot, or what have you. The only wrong way to eat it is to not eat it at all.

Guacamole.

Fresh guacamole totally counts as a veggie dip. Although you can’t throw your ingredients into a food process to make a good guac, it’s still pretty easy to make. All you need are a couple of ripe avocados, diced tomatoes, diced onions, a bit of lime juice, and some salt. Make sure you don’t mash the avocados too, too much. You want some texture. Otherwise, it won’t have as much flavor as it should.
